Sales Development Resource (SDR)

Job Description

CartoPac International is looking for talented sales professionals to join our growing team.  This position is an entry level sales position with potential for growth and promotion within the sales and marketing organization.  Applicants should have 1-2 years technical sales experience combined with energy or utility industry experience.   Knowledge in GIS and other asset management applications is very beneficial.  The position requires proven attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to learn and utilize new software applications. This position would be under the supervision of the Sales Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and clean targeting list/databases
  • Highly effective, organized use of Sales and Marketing  automation systems
  • Efficiently move contacts through a detailed sales qualification process
  • Skilled in the  process and tools to clearly understand customers requirements
  • Proficient in the demonstration and use of the CartoPac applications
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and web leads

Solutions Engineer

Job Description

CartoPac International is seeking a talented, motivated individual to join our Professional Services team as an Implementation and Support Specialist.  Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you will install, configure, and support our suite of software products for our customers. This position is a combination of software implementation for new customers and application support for our valued existing customers. Using our CartoPac-developed tools, you will design and implement customized solutions that meet the needs of each customer. In addition, you will be expected to provide product support for our existing customers and their solutions. 

Our engagements include the deployment of industry-leading software applications and the professional services required to plan, manage, configure, integrate, test, and implement CartoPac solutions. We follow a structured methodology, the CartoPac Way, and proven project management practices. You will work in a project-based environment where accountability, task ownership and meeting deadlines are required. 

The ideal candidate will not only possess the necessary technical skills, but also have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The work environment for our team is fast paced and we hold each other to a high standard of integrity and quality. Additionally, expectations for each team member are maintained at a high level.

Responsibilities include technical leadership, customer relationship management, scope management, business process analysis, implementation of project deliverables, training and project resource coordination.

Additional Desired Skills

  • Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • Solid understanding and use of the following:
    • Relational databases – Oracle, Esri SDE, MS Access
    • Reporting engines such as SSRS, SAP BI, Crystal Reports
    • Scripting and development
    • Esri products – ArcGIS, ArcCatalog, ArcObjects
  • GIS knowledge.
  • Basic programming experience.
    • SQL queries
    • Scripting in Windows: DOS, Powershell, Python
    • Basic Web Programming concepts: Understanding of Server-Side and Client-Side code and implementation considerations
  • Oil and gas industry experience.
  • Mobile devise and apps including GPS implementation.
