Scott Crouch, CEO
Scott Crouch has over 20 years of experience in the software industry and specifically, with large enterprise systems. Starting in research and development at Hewlett-Packard, Scott developed and designed software for the first digital scanners and later cameras in which he holds patents and other intellectual property. During his time at HP, Scott held positions in engineering and software development and managed small R&D teams.
Following his time at HP, Scott co-founded CartoPac and has held positions in every aspect of the company. During the last 18 years, Scott has directed and guided the continued software development, innovation and growth at CartoPac. In addition to technical duties, Scott has managed many of the large-scale projects and deployments that have been successfully completed or are in progress. Over the course of time, he developed processes for project implementation, IT integration, field training and solution design that are used by CartoPac to provide consistent results. Scott is currently CEO and manages all aspects of the business.
Scott received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University.
Theresa Chavez, Director of Business Development
Theresa has over 20 years of experience in software development where she has held positions in Research & Development, Professional Services, Quality Assurance, Customer Support and Information Technology. Theresa started her career working as an intern at Amoco Production Company where she developed an interest for integrating technology to improve business process efficiency. This interest lead her to Hewlett-Packard where she spent the majority of her career developing, implementing, supporting and managing technical solution implementations as an Engineer, Project Manager, Program Manager and Quality Assurance Manager. With her repeated success in leading the development, implementation and support of software products and projects, she quickly moved into the role of the Research and Development Manager with Harris Govern, where she earned her certification as a Scrum Master implementing Agile principles. Adept in improving quality, productivity and effectiveness in organizations, she decided to make a career change into Sales & Marketing where she could utilize her skills in collaboration with all levels of the organization, customers and suppliers to drive key initiatives to achieve business objectives.
She received her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, with minors in Math and Geography from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. In her spare time, Theresa enjoys spending time with her 3 kids Emilio, Tiana and Kiara and enjoying outside activities such as hiking, cycling, running, Cross-Fit, camping, kayaking, fishing, and golf and also loves to do international travel, Judo, and poetry writing.
Glenn Vlass, Co-Founder and Strategic Account Manager
Glenn worked as an exploration geologist performing field surveys in Colorado, Wyoming and Alaska. In 2000, he co-founded CartoPac and has served in a variety of different roles within the business, including sales, marketing and business management functions. Glenn graduated from Western State College with degrees in Geology and Business Administration. In his spare time, Glenn enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his family, including backpacking, hiking, camping, skiing and hunting.
Erin Seaman, Partnership and Business Development Manager
Erin comes from a diverse professional background where she has worked in various sales, marketing, and business operations roles for hardware and software companies ranging from small non-profit associations to multi-national corporate conglomerates, and everything in between. She has a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and International Business from Loyola University Chicago and she enjoys applying her education by digging deep to understand the needs of the customer. Her passion is in business process improvement and is thusly excited to have joined the CartoPac team during a time of unprecedented growth. Outside of her responsibilities at CartoPac, Erin has another but more important role as a first-time-mom to 6-month-old Eloise. She and her husband Brad enjoy watching their daughter’s curiosity grow with each day.
Stephanie Bergman, Marketing Manager
Stephanie joined CartoPac as a marketing professional with 10 years of experience in industries ranging from building materials to software and spent a portion of her career as a Project Manager for software implementation. She is eager to leverage her diverse skill set to elevate CartoPac’s marketing efforts and develop strong relationships within the industry. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. As a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native for most of her life, Stephanie recently moved to Colorado with her husband and two golden retrievers. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys taking advantage of all that Colorful Colorado has to offer, including hiking, backpacking, camping, running, and cycling and is also extremely passionate about health and fitness.
