With a focus on the energy, gas and electric utility markets, CartoPac has hundreds of deployments worldwide with thousands of users collecting data on the CartoPac Platform.

Sales and Marketing Team

Scott Crouch, CEO

Scott Crouch has over 20 years of experience in the software industry and specifically, with large enterprise systems. Starting in research and development at Hewlett-Packard, Scott developed and designed software for the first digital scanners and later cameras in which he holds patents and other intellectual property. During his time at HP, Scott held positions in engineering and software development and managed small R&D teams.

Following his time at HP, Scott co-founded CartoPac and has held positions in every aspect of the company. During the last 18 years, Scott has directed and guided the continued software development, innovation and growth at CartoPac. In addition to technical duties, Scott has managed many of the large-scale projects and deployments that have been successfully completed or are in progress. Over the course of time, he developed processes for project implementation, IT integration, field training and solution design that are used by CartoPac to provide consistent results. Scott is currently CEO and manages all aspects of the business.

Scott received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University.

Theresa Chavez, Director of Sales and Marketing

Theresa has over 20 years of experience in software development where she has held positions in Research & Development, Professional Services, Quality Assurance, Customer Support and Information Technology. Theresa started her career working as an intern at Amoco Production Company where she developed an interest for integrating technology to improve business process efficiency. This interest lead her to Hewlett-Packard where she spent the majority of her career developing, implementing, supporting and managing technical solution implementations as an Engineer, Project Manager, Program Manager and Quality Assurance Manager. With her repeated success in leading the development, implementation and support of software products and projects, she quickly moved into the role of the Research and Development Manager with Harris Govern, where she earned her certification as a Scrum Master implementing Agile principles. Adept in improving quality, productivity and effectiveness in organizations, she decided to make a career change into Sales & Marketing where she could utilize her skills in collaboration with all levels of the organization, customers and suppliers to drive key initiatives to achieve business objectives.

She received her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, with minors in Math and Geography from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. In her spare time, Theresa enjoys spending time with her 3 kids Emilio, Tiana and Kiara and enjoying outside activities such as hiking, cycling, running, Cross-Fit, camping, kayaking, fishing, and golf and also loves to do international travel, Judo, and poetry writing.

Glenn Vlass, Senior Sales Executive and Co-Founder

Glenn worked as an exploration geologist performing field surveys in Colorado, Wyoming and Alaska. In 2000, he co-founded CartoPac and has served in a variety of different roles within the business, including sales, marketing and business management functions. Glenn graduated from Western State College with degrees in Geology and Business Administration. In his spare time, Glenn enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his family, including backpacking, hiking, camping, skiing and hunting.

Anny Lee, Account Manager

Prior to joining CartoPac in 2018, Anny was a refurbishment engineer providing upfront and shop support in the offshore subsea services sector of FMC Technologies (Houston, TX). After several years on the engineering side, she curiously ventured into the sales and software world – and is glad she did. She appreciates a good challenge and looks forward to helping others find solutions to problems while building genuine relationships along the way. Anny enjoys a multitude of random activities: volunteering for various organizations, cooking and eating foods from around the world, rock climbing even though she is scared of heights, kickboxing, scuba diving, country western dancing, making attempts at salsa dancing, being introduced to new music, and is always up for a good hike in the Colorado mountains. Anny graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology and is a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2011!

Erin Seaman, Sales Development Resource

Erin comes from a diverse professional background where she has worked in various sales, marketing, and business operations roles for hardware and software companies ranging from small non-profit associations to multi-national corporate conglomerates, and everything in between. She has a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and International Business from Loyola University Chicago and she enjoys applying her education by digging deep to understand the needs of the customer. Her passion is in business process improvement and is thusly excited to have joined the CartoPac team during a time of unprecedented growth. Outside of her responsibilities at CartoPac, Erin has another but more important role as a first-time-mom to 6-month-old Eloise. She and her husband Brad enjoy watching their daughter’s curiosity grow with each day.

Stephanie Bergman, Marketing Coordinator

Stephanie joined CartoPac as a marketing professional with 10 years of experience in industries ranging from building materials to software and spent a portion of her career as a Project Manager for software implementation. She is eager to leverage her diverse skill set to elevate CartoPac’s marketing efforts and develop strong relationships within the industry. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. As a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native for most of her life, Stephanie recently moved to Colorado with her husband and two golden retrievers. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys taking advantage of all that Colorful Colorado has to offer, including hiking, backpacking, camping, running, and cycling and is also extremely passionate about health and fitness.
